BBSI: Kenya Orphanage
Our main aim is to house children from the slums especially orphans who have no parents or guardians to care for them. The home will provide a Christian loving family environment providing vital stability and love in the children’s lives.
The home currently consists of separate boys and girl’s dormitories and bathrooms, kitchen, dining hall, playroom and an area for the housemother who looks after the children on a daily basis.
The children will be brought up together as a family unit and much needed love, security, hope and self – belief will be installed into them along with various life skills.
They will continue to live in the children’s home and attend school where they will be further developed in areas of education, emotional, physical, spiritual and mental well-being.
The home has been operating since December 4th 2008 and currently houses twenty (20) children. We are desperately trying to house additional children but until we receive additional funding for the continued building work of the home, sadly we are unable to accommodate more children at this time but we are hopeful that this will soon change.
